Hey guys! I have great news. Fall Break is upon us, and I am ecstatic. Around this time every year, I desperately need a break from papers and tests, and Fall Break is just that. While it may be tempting to just hole up in my apartment, binge watch Netflix, and sleep, Fall Break is an opportunity to explore and have fun. If you are having a hard time thinking of ways to spend your break, we have some ideas. Here are some of the ways the Choctawk team members are spending our long weekend.
As the school year approaches, it's likely that many of your friends will move to a different college than you, and both your and your friends' lives will start to look drastically different. The dreaded long distance friendship has caused many a once 'best friends for life's to drift away, with both content to carry on without the other. If reading that causes a face to flash in your mind and a stubborn defiance to take root, declaring, "No. Never. Not our friendship," then this is the blog for you. The Clock Tower which sits upon Nelson Hall is the icon for Mississippi College. Sure, campus has the Kugel and the Arches, but nothing compares to our Clock Tower, which chimes on the hour and plays beloved hymns. Not only does the Clock Tower ring throughout campus letting its students know they're late to class, but it also looks amazing in any condition or angle. Don't believe me?
