Like most things at MC, the tower gets quieter in the summer. Most of our callers and bloggers leave for the summer to travel, work at camp, or chill at home. A select few, though, stay in Clinton and continue to call the Tower home in the warmer months. You'll be hearing a lot from us over the next few months, so we thought a proper introduction was due. Without further ado...
I can download a song from iTunes in less than a minute. I walk across the street to the grocery store for midnight snacks. I frequent drive-thru fast-food restaurants. Events are measurable down to the minute or even second. In our culture, if we want something, there's a good chance that we can get it almost immediately. That's not always the case.
Hello friends, it's your favorite graduating senior, Elizabeth, and I'd be lying if I said I'm excited about writing this blog. I started working in the Tower during the fall of 2012 as a caller, and then for the past two years I've gotten to work on the blog! I've genuinely loved this job and have made some priceless memories with co-workers that have become my best friends.
Hey friends! It's Ashton on the blog today to keep y'all up to date with the happenings of MC life. As you probably know, MC doesn't have fraternities and sororities, but we have a Club and Tribe system that offers students a way to be involved on campus. Today, I'm here to tell y'all about the newest tribe on campus: Chenoa.
Hello fellow students. It's Ashton here. Within the past ten minutes, I've eaten a tortilla, walked laps around the cubicles, and yelled at people from the tower window. I wish I had a logical reason for why I did those things, but I don't. We are a generation of procrastinators and while it affects our work progress and homework load, it is what it is. We are the #ProctastinationNation and as finals come around, it's the perfect time to embrace it.
Hi friends! It's your favorite resident blog chiefs here to brighten your day with a plethora of cute animal pictures. Finals are coming fast and furious and we're here to prepare you in the best way we know how-- adorable animals acting as a way for us to explain what it's like to experience finals. Let's do this.
