Hey there Choctaw Fans! It's springtime, and that means that Baseball is back! So, let's take a look at what is going down in America's favorite past time here at Mississippi College.

In September 2014, MC Baseball celebrated the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Rice Field House. The new facility accompanied the Choctaws return to Division II and the Gulf South Conference.

The Choctaws started off hot, winning their first six games. They've experienced adversity since entering conference play, but remain hopeful. Baseball is a game of patience and mental endurance, and our team is working hard to extend their stellar start throughout the season. I think that Yogi Berra said it best:

Baseball is ninety percent mental and the other half is physical.
— Yogi Berra

The atmosphere at Frierson Field is fun and personal. There's just something uniquely American about watching baseball with your friends. CAB often hosts student sections and provides snacks and a sense of structure for fans to cheer on the Choctaws. So, come check us out and spend an afternoon in the ballpark.

Until next time,
