The Mississippi College School of Business is the largest department at the University, and the MBA program is the largest in the Jackson Metro Area. The School of Business helps students develop critical thinking skills, competent communication, teamwork, and writing abilities, while challenging students to approach moral and ethical issues through a Christian perspective.
Out business students enjoy one of the nicest facilities on-campus and in the past decade has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation. Self Hall has both small and auditorium style classrooms, complete with state-of-the-art technology and updated business software. Walking through the front doors, you'll see up-to-the-minute stock tickers displayed across the front wall, filling the lobby with professional energy and operativeness.

The coursework challenges students in competent communication and teaches them to maneuver the demands of business administration.
The MC School of Business has celebrated over 6,000 graduates with alumni in CEO, CFO, and other leading executive positions.
This school also partners with local, national, and international businesses to challenge and give real life experience to its students while benefiting the community. Students are given the chance to learn through internships, interviews, competitions, and networking events.
Each year, the Business School sponsors the Executive Speaker Series, bringing in top executives from around the country. In past years, our guests have been Condoleezza Rice, Steve Forbes, John Brock (CEO of Coca-Cola Enterprises), Mike Ducker (COO of FedEx), and Dan Kathy (COO and President of Chik-fil-a).
One of the many ways the Business School provides real life experience for its students is through the MC Investment Club. Students who are members of the Investment Club manage $100,000 funded by MC and gain experience in investing and portfolio management.
The School also provides students with the opportunity to study abroad in Costa Rice, Spain, France, London, Austria, or Seoul. Studying abroad allows students to earn class credit while building cultural and language skills.
