Returning from Thanksgiving break has one thing on our minds--finals. Final projects, exams, and presentations are all happening, and we are longing for Christmas. Luckily, our Campus Activities Board hosts Lighting of the Quad each year, which is the most magical event of the year.

Enter the Quad through a Christmas Tree farm and be enchanted by the myriad of lights. Then, gather your friends to view the Gingerbread house competition between the clubs and tribes and to grab some hot chocolate. Don't forget your t-shirt donations to support missions in Nicaragua.

Each year, there's live music and a reading of the Christmas Story. (This year, Dr. Kucia will be reading the Christmas Story). With finals approaching and Christmas seeming further away, hearing familiar tunes and about Christ's love for us brings comfort and joy to the soul. Also, each year, there's a special theme. Whether "A Candyland Christmas," "Home for the Holidays," or "White Christmas" (this year's theme), Lighting of the Quad never fails to remind us of the sacrificial nature of Christ, His love for us, and the importance of community.

This year, Lighting of the Quad will be tonight at 8 PM! Bring your old shirts and your Christmas Spirit!
