Admissions Counselor Spotlight: Brandon Cervenka

Hello friends! It's Tuesday again, and you know what that means!

We're glad you could join us for another Admissions Counselor Spotlight. And this week we're getting to know another great guy, Brandon Cervenka! 

Fun fact about Brandon: He has a motorcycle! 

Brandon is a native of Tallahassee, FL, but enjoys living his life over here in Mississippi. He is super well-rounded and has done just about everything. Check out his interview below for proof. 

But before that, let's look at where Brandon is travelling this week.

What Disney Princess would you marry and why? 

Jasmine because she's a total babe and knows how to fly on a magic carpet. 

What animal would you be and why?

A lion because he's the king of the jungle.  

What are your go to road trip snacks? 

Definitely sunflower seeds. (He played baseball when he was a kid.) 

What are your go to road trip jams?

70s of 80s music! 

Books that changed your life? 

The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch and Jeffery Zeslow. 

What were your high school involvements? 

Theater AND football. I was the most well-rounded individual at the school. And I still am. 

How did you find MC as a student? 

I got recruited by MC's football team, got connected with Sam Maze, and the rest is history. Sam and I are still buds. 

Pro-Tips for high school students? 

Get to know your guidance counselors, especially by your senior year. Get super involved and always remember to stay connected to your high school friends, even after you graduate.
