This is me and my beard at the LFR information meeting!

The past two summers I worked at a camp called Lake Forest Ranch. You may be wondering “What is Lake Forest Ranch?!” I like that place, so I will tell you all about it. Lake Forest is a camp in the middle of a Forest with a Lake. But in all seriousness LFR is a wonderful place that the Lord has used to work drastically in my life. I worked there the summer after my freshman year on the Work Staff. The Work Staff works one half of the summer or the other. They do most of the grunt work, but have fun constantly. I loved being a Work Staffer, you get to serve constantly and the Lord is always teaching you different things about service constantly. This past summer (summer after my sophomore year) I worked as a counselor and it was super awesome! I loved it, and it was super fun. At the same time it is a great opportunity to share the gospel with children and youth. As a counselor you get super tired, but you get to experience the Lord working directly through you in your weakness. The camp director Rich Malone came to MC to do a little recruiting!
