Rush isn’t just for girls; guys are getting started too! Last Friday, male students rushing at MC made their way to the Tuscany patio to sign up (or “pref”) for one of the four Men’s Service Clubs on campus: Circle K, Civitan, Rotaract, or Shawreth. For one group of guys though, the process was a little more drawn out. It’s a yearly tradition here that the guys who want to be a part of Shawreth start camping out a few days early to be first on the list – and get one of the few coveted spots in Shawreth’s 65-man cap. Tents, hammocks, guitars (and sometimes banjos), they’re what it’s all about.

No matter what club you choose to join though, you’re in for a ride, and you’re about to make some of the best friends you’ll ever have.
